Profile

Seven is an independent arts centre in Leeds. An innovative programme of music, dance, theatre, film, comedy and poetry is supported by the thriving café bar. Seven has become the cultural hub for the Chapel Allerton area of Leeds.

A strong visual identity that was conceived purely for print was skilfully implemented for the web.

and an ongoing review have helped deliver commercial and creative success for Seven.

Results

The site attracts 37,000 visitors a year (for a 120 seat venue in a suburb of Leeds).
The eBulletin has 2,000 subscribers.
The Seven Facebook page has over 1,000 friends.
The Seven café bar is regularly full while other local bars struggle, the program of events is a runaway success.

Infostore

Infostore is a one-stop online information resource for older people in Leeds. It has twice received funding as a national pilot, and consistently takes an innovative route through the shifting landscape of information provision and digital innovation.

Creative Design

Creative design is of course about looking good, but it's a lot more than that; it's about knowing who you want to talk to, what your brand is, and what you want to achieve. You need a cool appraisal and a sound strategy.

Otherwise it's just pretty pictures and 'I don't like purple'.

A major update

Ilkley Literature Festival needed a fresh design reflecting modern trends, easy content management and most importantly an easy to use Events section that links seamlessly to their new online ticket purchasing system.

Having supported ILFs previous bespoke website they turned to us for a cost effective solution. We selected WordPress as the core Content Management System and, with our extensive WP expertise, created a very simple and powerful Events section that is a dream to use.

WordPress is a great system but you won’t get much out of the box, you need a specialist that really understands WordPress and the huge range of Plug-ins offered. We are able to go beyond even this and develop functionality that really matched ILF’s needs giving them a website that is truly fit for purpose.
